Brief Summary: For the installation of Z-bracing to reinforce containment walls designed to prevent rising waters from the river, Salco was contracted to provide the galvanized steel required for fabrication and installation. This challenging project demanded extensive engineering and planning, particularly due to the wall’s close proximity to other structures and neighborhoods. To mitigate dust and noise, a structure was constructed to house welding operations. Furthermore, the entire project area was shrink-wrapped and heated during winter months to minimize production interruptions. Our crews successfully completed the project on time, with minimal disruptions to the nearby community and the public.
